Tech Forum Kick-Off - From Closed Standards to Open Innovation: How Merchants are Leading the Payments Revolution
Description
Level 100
Merchants are becoming the key drivers shaping and influencing payments services and solutions, actively redefining payments ecosystems to suit their evolving needs. This new era of merchant-led solutions marks a significant shift from the past, where innovation was limited by more "closed" payment standards. Now, there’s an unprecedented opportunity for these standards to innovate by partnering with payments data infrastructure enablers to stay competitive and efficient while keeping costs low. This session will explore how merchants leverage independent token vaulting and AWS to manage payments across processors, channels, global currencies, and more. Panelists will share real-world examples of merchants reshaping the payments landscape, optimizing their ecosystems, enhancing data utility, and complying seamlessly with PCI v4.
