MAG hosted its first virtual Tech Forum and Annual Conference in October 2020.
The Tech Forum saw record attendance with nearly 500 registrants, a 57% increase from its inaugural event in 2019, and the Annual Conference, with over 800 registrants, had a 27% increase in attendance compared to 2019 Annual Conference.
Attendees for both events participated in content-rich sessions, met with sponsors virtually in our interactive exhibit hall and actively engaged with each other and MAG staff in the virtual networking lounge. Participants also had a bit of fun after the sessions concluded in a variety of end-of-day networking events, such as Drink Up and Link Up: Building a Powerful LinkedIn Profile, Career Path Insights for Young Professionals and New to MAG Meet Up which connected new MAG members with one another.
“There is no better payments industry group out there. I always start with the MAG when recommending to my peers as to how they can get more involved” and “Best event (virtual or otherwise) that I attend.”
In addition, 100 percent of survey respondents noted that they would recommend the Tech Forum and the Annual Conference to their peers.
Registered attendees will continue to have access to conference resources, sessions, exhibits and information in the virtual platform through January 31, 2021, using their conference credentials as an added benefit of the virtual experience. Please contact the MAG if you need assistance with access.
