On September 10, 2023, we hosted our MAG members and sponsors in Atlanta, Georgia, for our 2023 Annual Conference and Tech Forum. It was the perfect celebration of the MAG’s 15-year anniversary and was our largest conference yet – with over 1,100 attendees. Prior to the conference, we announced a new sponsorship structure, which will go into effect on January 1, 2024.
We had the opportunity to speak to many of you at the sponsor-only SIG, where the MAG Growth and Engagement team had the opportunity to answer questions about the upcoming changes to the MAG’s sponsorship program; but we know how busy our sponsors were networking with payments professionals and taking in the many sessions offered, so we wanted to highlight the key changes to the new program below for those unable to make the session.
Starting on January 1, 2024, our new sponsorship structure will go into effect where both the sponsor levels and pricing will change. This price increase and change to the current sponsor structure is our first price increase in five years and only the second in MAG's 15-year history.
The updated pricing and benefits are available on our website. The MAG is committed to our mission of helping shape innovative approaches to the payments industry while providing unparalleled collaboration and networking opportunities for both our merchants and sponsors. The changes to our sponsorship program will help us in achieving our mission. Some of the changes to the new sponsor structure include:
- Upgraded Tier 1 with early access to the exhibitor selection portal
- Tech Forum included in Tier 1
- Educational eLearning programs included in Tier 1
- Increased complimentary conference passes for Tiers 1 and 2
- MAG Board of Directors engagement for Tier 1 and Tier 2
- Exhibit booth selection added to Tech Forum Sponsorship
For companies with a renewal date before January 1, 2024, you will renew at the 2023 pricing for next year's term. An example would be if a current Platinum Annual Sponsor’s term dates are November 1, 2023 – October 31, 2024, they will renew at the current pricing on November 1, 2023. When they renew on November 1, 2024, they will renew at the new structured pricing for their term of November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2025. Please note that since MAG Annual Sponsorships renew on anniversary dues cycle and not a calendar dues cycle, we cannot change your existing renewal date or term dates.
