Over the years, the MAG has grown from a small group of individuals meeting to address the needs of merchants within the payments ecosystem, to an international organization that engages with merchants and payments industry service providers from across all verticals through our two annual conferences, webinars, committees, SIGs and more. The MAG has also expanded our sponsorship program since its inception. Below I break down the differences between the three sponsorship opportunities that the MAG offers.
Annual Sponsors
Annual Sponsors are organizations that operate on the service provider side of the payments industry. They represent companies like card brands, processors, acquirers, fintech companies, and more. You get a host of benefits by joining the MAG as an Annual Sponsor plus access to the MAG’s merchant members. The payments professionals from these organizations operate primarily on the business side of the payments landscape. At MAG conferences, you will interact with merchant payments team members including Treasury Directors, Directors of Payments Acceptance, and Payments Program Managers. Our Annual Sponsorship program has four distinct tiers and price points that each offer many benefits:
- Tier 1 – Elite Partner
- $125,000 per year
- Tier 2 – Premier Partner
- $65,000 per year
- Tier 3 – Select Partner
- $35,000 per year
- Tier 4 – Associate Partner
- $20,000 per year
All four tiers come with complimentary registrations to each conference (the number of complimentary registrations depends on the tier) and a 10x10 booth in our exhibit hall at both conferences (these booths are on a first come first serve basis and need to be selected by the sponsor company). Tier 2 and Tier 3 Sponsors are also guaranteed one speaking opportunity in your year term, either a conference session, webinar, or innovation stage. Tier 1 sponsors are guaranteed two speaking opportunities in their year term.
Tech Forum Sponsors
The MAG Tech Forum was created back in 2019 to address the lack of opportunity where payments IT professionals could gather to address the technical challenges in the industry. The MAG Tech Forum takes place concurrently with both our MAG Payments Conference and Payments MAGnified, providing sponsors the opportunity to share tech-focused insights and establish relationships with merchants’ payments IT professionals and business teams.
Companies that become Tech Forum Sponsors have teams and operations that deal directly with technical challenges in areas like tokenization, PCI compliance, fraud management, POS software, blockchain AI/ML, and more. Some of the job titles of the merchant attendees of our conferences include IT Payments Director, Solutions Architect, Product Manager, and Director of Engineering.
Tech Forum Sponsors are guaranteed one speaking opportunity during their year term (either a Tech Forum session or webinar). Sponsors also get three complimentary passes to each conference, with full access to all Tech Forum Sessions and Business Sessions. Tech Forum Sponsors also get a 10x10 booth in our exhibit hall at each conference (these booths are on a first come first serve basis and need to be selected by the sponsor company). As the Tech Forum grows, MAG staff is working to explore ways to get our Tech Forum Sponsors more engaged with the Tech Exec Advisors.
Conference Sponsors
MAG offers a variety of conference sponsorships that include evening receptions, hotel room keycards, wi-fi, escalator and glass window clings, branded reusable water bottles, networking lounge, and many more that are available for our Annual and Tech Forum Sponsors to take advantage of. Our conference sponsorships present a great opportunity to gain additional exposure and showcase your brand to our conference attendees. You can find the current list of available conference sponsorships on our website here.
Whether your company chooses to be an Annual, Tech Forum, Conference Sponsor, or all three, the MAG has the right option for your company to make an impact. If you are interested in sponsorship with the MAG, please reach out to Meg Thaxton.
