Merchant Payments 200 level eLearning series offers five online Payments courses designed for anyone seeking to increase individual skills in focused areas. Each course focuses on a different topic including Managing a Payments Program, Card Types/Products, Fraud, Chargebacks, Touchless Payments, and Debit Routing. 200-Level Courses are à la carte and can be taken in any order.
201: Managing your Payments Program
Objective: Enable the learner to effectively manage Merchant Payments by creating strategic and equitable vendor partnerships while leading their team/cross-functional stakeholders to collaborate and make data-based decisions.

202: Exploring Card Types and Products
Objective: Enable the learner to effectively analyze and manage the payment card products a merchant accepts. At the end of this course learners will exhibit knowledge of how to optimize the card product mix to successfully achieve their organization’s payments, customer relationship, and expense goals.

203: Navigating Fraud and Chargebacks
Objective: Enable the learner to effectively detect and analyze fraud in their environments while optimizing chargeback response in order to minimize loss. At the end of this course, learners will exhibit the skills required to monitor and track key performance indicators and card product data to uncover potentially fraudulent transactions and successfully reduce fraud while preserving the customer experience.

204: Evaluating Touchless Payments
Objective: Enable the learner to understand the nuances of touchless payments and better address requirements for deployment in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
To demonstrate this, at the end of this course learners will exhibit knowledge of how to assess touchless payment options, while considering legacy payment architectures, in order to address typical performance expectations driving their organization’s payments, customer relationships, and ROI (Return on Investment) goals.

205: An Exploration of Debit Routing
Objective: Enable the learner to maximize the economic opportunities of an effective debit routing strategy through learning how to interpret the US debit market, implement a debit routing strategy with appropriate processes and controls, and understand the basics for completing a technical implementation of debit routing by identifying potential obstacles and considerations.
